Letters of Charles Nordhoff [manuscript], 1888-1893.

In an 1888 letter to an unidentified recipient Nordhoff discusses the possibilities of tariff reform and also mentions Grover Cleveland, his Cabinet, and statehood for Hawaii. He also thanks Robert William Chambers for an intervention in his behalf and apologizes to William C. Redfield for the rejection of a manuscript.
